The Health Reimbursement Account should not be confused with a Health Care Flexible Spending Account, or HFSA.
If your employer has elected an HRA it is funded entirely by them. There are no employee elections in an HRA. The employer also chooses which expenses will be covered and sometimes may design the plan so that funds left at the end of the year roll over to the next year. There are many specific rules and designs with an HRA.
